How did your now-husband propose?

We went away on a little getaway for a few nights to Port Stephens in early December 2022. In the middle of a scenic walk with no one around, he popped the question after 6 years together.

Describe your ‘yes to the dress’ moment. How did you feel and what made you say ‘yes’?

I’ll never forget when I tried on my wedding dress for the first time at Eternal Bridal. I had my mum with me. It was the first dress I had to try on at Eternal Bridal, and it was honestly a bit of a movie moment. I just looked up at my mum as soon as I saw it on, and she looked at me. We both knew it was the one. We celebrated with champagne in store pretty quickly after that - it was one of the quickest decisions I've ever made.

How did you feel wearing your dream wedding dress on your wedding day?

Like a princess.

What inspired you while styling your dream day?

We have always loved going away to open airy places like Bowral, as we love the country vibe down there. When we decided we wanted to get married in autumn there, that helped with styling as we knew the autumn leaves would already be beautiful and vibrant and a part of the day.

What was the highlight of your special day?

So many things -  dancing the night away with my husband at reception and with everyone we love celebrating around us felt pretty damn special.

If you could go back in time and give your newly-engaged self one piece of advice, what would it be?

Everything comes together in the end, so take it easy on yourself.
